*sigh* This was beautiful, really. So true for them, I think. Lovely writting.

Now I'm kinda sad, though. *huggles Dean*

Thank you so much! I'm glad it worked for you--this part gave me such anxiety.

It's okay--he'll be happy again soon enough :)

This... this makes me feel again what I've always feeled about Dean when watching the show-that he is lonely
And this is beautiful, I can say much more beautiful than the first part, though that one is beautiful too (specially near the end when Dean watches Cas walking)

The poor boy is always lonely. I want Cas to stick around forever in the show so he never has to be alone.

Oh, wow, thank you so much! I'm really happy to know that this worked for and that my writing is getting better (I think? :P). Thank you, again!

And I have such an attachment to that scene, ngl. I shouldn't be that in love with my own writing. /self-praise

Oh so you seen the same thing as me. He's so lonely and that's why I love him so much. Sam is different. I think despite the way they act, Dean is actually the "introverted" one, and Sam the opposite. I realized it since the very first episode when he told Sam not to talk about Mary like that. John had crossed the line between remembrance and obsession, and still had never got any idea about his mom let alone how to miss her, and Dean is left alone with his feelings. Many things else like that...
Oh my, you SHOULD be in love with your own writing (and you being that in love isn't so bad :P) because it IS getting better

Dean is such a wonderfully tragic and complicated character and I can never get enough of him. You're right, Dean really is the introverted one, at least when it comes to his feelings and his thoughts. He is charismatically extroverted to hide the fact that he is continually breaking into a million pieces inside.

*g* Man, thank you so much. My heart is all warm and fuzzy right now.

Yeah, I can totally see this happening. Dean and Cas being happy together and Sam leaving to continue hunting/finding himself.

Bittersweet but hopeful.

Incredibly beautiful, in a bittersweet sort of way.
Can I say that I'm completely in love with your prose? It flows in such a lovely way.

Thank you! I'm glad it worked for you.

And yes you can! :D I'm glad you like my style, as well. Admittedly, it's the most important thing to me when I'm writing and it's a relief to know people enjoy it.

a sunken, spun-out delight coursing through him at just the feel of Castiel moving instinctively towards him.

I have dozens of favorite lines in this piece, but this one in particular really stuck out to me. It's incredibly evocative. Your style is absolutely fantastic.

I also love how intricately this is woven together, past and future and darkness and regret. It's beautiful. Thank you for posting!
