I have to question my own sanity when this sort of thing begins to feel routine.

Guests!  While you're here, would you mind glancing at this and giving me your opinions on it?  Might you consider expanding upon it?  It's all speculation, of course, since none of you were terribly forward last time.  I would sincerely appreciate concrete answers, or ( Read more... )

You're such a scholar. It's adorable.

Well. I do pride myself on my scholarly abilities, even if I wouldn't consider them... cute.

We've met before, I know, but I can't recall a name.

I've always had a soft spot for scholarly types.

It's Erin. Nice to meet you again!

I'm flattered, really.

You as well, Erin. I'd give you my name again, but I don't suppose that's necessary.

It seems you have. Dr. Watson, was it? Did you ever manage to locate Sherlock Holmes?

Yes, I did. Upon returning home, I found my friend exactly where he ought to have been and indeed I did not remember him ever having been missing. Yet it is my sad duty to inform you that Sherlock Holmes was lost over the Riechenback Falls, though not without bringing the worst criminal in all of Britain down with him.

By the way, I don't quite understand what is going on in the tiny picture that appeared in reply in your reply to me.

You write a worthless manual and leave out the King of Kings? As expected of a mongrel.

It's not worthless.

Tell me about this King of Kings and I'll consider adding him.

The man who ruled the Kingdom of Uruk, an empire that expanded the entire known world.

Uruk--the Sumerian city?

Not that my knowledge of Uruk applies if you're from a different universe.

I'm not familiar with the song, I'm afraid.

We haven't met, have we? Not that I'm surprised that you know me--that seems to be a trend.

...Narwhals? Supposedly, they're not real. I wouldn't be amazed if they existed somewhere, however. Have you seen one?
