Marishka? You wouldn't happen to have a cup of sugar I might borrow, would you?

There's quite a lot of talk on the network about parents, isn't there? Fascinating read, really, although I'm alarmed at the number of dysfunctional or deceased families you all seem to have. It's rather sad that so many of you grew up under such circumstances.

Agreed. Not to mention a family life should be a private one; I don't like this urge to speak about my own parents myself.

It's rather embarrassing, isn't it? The curses that affect the mind are the most bothersome, I think. Being robbed of the ability to choose what one talks about bothers me, at any rate.

My parents are amongst the deceased, but this doesn't traumatise me.

Oh, of course not! I didn't mean to say that that sort of thing is always traumatic. Actually, I think some people would be better off if their parents had made some sort of exit early on.

I might have neglected to mention that. Technically speaking, the organization I'm with doesn't exist--it's all very secretive. The last time we wrote, I believe I told them I was studying under... oh, I made up a rather good lie, but I don't remember it now.
