I love poetry. It's such an amazing art form. I wish I were better at writing it, but for now I am content to read what others can do - including yours. When I can spare the money I'd love to buy a copy of your book.

LOL If I can find the money for shipping, I'll prolly send you a free copy anyway.

I wrote something just now I'd love your take on, just posted it. Not a poem, but you might like it anyway, it's about the death of Keats.

Can I consider myself the next Tennyson? LOL. I love him. I'd like to post some of my poetry sometime, but I've got a major inferiority complex, not to mention I'm paranoid about having my work stolen.

LOL Yes, you can be Tennyson. :-D

I'm thinking of trying to get a little group together, a little web-salon with weekly poetry challenges...It'd be nice to have you along! I can understand the fear of thievery - I worry that dumb high school kids are trying to pass my stuff off as their own for their Creative Writing classes or something. But whatevs. It was here first, obviously. lol

That would be cool! I'd definitely be willing to check it out. That would be a great new way for me to keep up with poetry, actually. Since graduating I haven't done much, honestly. I've been writing, but not poetry, and I'd love to start again.

We'll make it a private group, and since we're all poets with the same concerns I very much doubt there will be any stealingz going on.

And gaaaaah your icon.
