Damn, now I need to catch up on my Merlin. I quite liked this! A very good song, though it's a shame the words (from the show) aren't always clear. All in all, very well put together.

Thank you for watching and commenting! I'm very pleased you liked it and took the time to tell me so. I grow continually happier with my ability to fight with WMM to get the audio-mixing/overlay to work 'properly', but it is just a symptom of me trying to make masterpieces with what amounts to a butter knife. I intend to get better video editing software at some point in the future but I think more than one video every six months will have to become my average before I can justify the commitment. ^^

Anyway, for your convenience I'll transcribe the bits that are in there (the lyrics are in the description of the video on youtube, also, if you'd like):

[Opening scene, I'm sure, is quite clear. ^^;]

0:27
Arthur: There's something about you, Merlin. Can't quite put my finger on it.

1:08
Arthur: Can't hide anything from me, Merlin.

1:26
Merlin: Wouldn't dream of it.

1:47
Merlin: You've still got me.
Arthur: Is that supposed to cheer me up?

1:51
Arthur: What if my father's attitude to[ward?] magic is wrong?
Merlin: .. ( ... )

Many thanks for the transript! And trust me, I know all about the woes of WMM. *glares at program*

No problem! I'm actually pleased enough with the product of my work that it's not painful to look back at it, which is a good thing, so I don't mind at all!

Two alternative options provided! Sorry about the inconvenience. Sometimes youtube and media content providers don't quite understand the concept of fair use... SO, I've provided a download link and a Vimeo link above, though the latter will apparently take a while longer to be live.

Thanks for your interest and I hope one of those options suits you because I'd love to know what you think!

You summed up lot of great moments from the show. I'm not too fond of music videos with dialogs, but this one's really good. :)

Thanks! I do generally use some dialogs in my videos, but it's mostly because it's sort of like a puzzle and a challenge to try and play with the audio levels and I'm always pleased when I get it to sort of work. However, I would like to learn to do it without it as well. Another friend of mine who makes fanvids and I often have discussions about the merits of using them versus not doing so.

In any case, thanks for watching! I'm really glad you did and I appreciate it. :)

I just watched this- so good!! I've been on a Merlin/Arthur kick lately and this video is absolutely perfect! The song is great, both emotional and the lyrics hold true, and the quotes you pulled are really good too. Great job!

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked it and took the time to watch it.

I'm also glad you liked the quotes--it's really difficult to get them to even begin to play nice as far as audio-editing goes, so it always feels like a gamble.

Also thank you so much for taking the time to let me know what you thought.
