Title of this post brought to you by Stan Rogers, whose music I have been listening to while writing this evening. I love him.

Progress has been made, though not as much as I'd hoped by this point. My grandma has been in the hospital, so things have been a little stressful around here. But!

I am so excited about this fic. SO EXCITED.

Also, sigh, I really can't get into these new pairings exploding all over. Charles/Erik, Steve/Tony, they really don't do it for me at all, maybe it's because of ALL THE HYPE that makes me cringe away.

:D

It's not a fandom I'm actively participating in, but I'm attracted to the pairing and have read some fic. I don't feel the need to write any, though. And I've not seen the X-Men movie, so I have no idea on the other pairing, haha. :)

Heee, yay for progress! And porn! Always porn! \o/

I don't get the whole Tony Stark/Steve Rogers hype, because a) I haven't seen Captain America and b) I find neither Chris Evans nor Robert Downey Jr even remotely attractive. I just can't get into it. However, I am looking forward to seeing Avengers next year ^^

:D

I don't find either of the actors attractive, either. I don't find the character of Tony Stark all that attractive, but I do find Steve Rogers attractive, which is quite strange for me. Also, I do sometimes like the bad boy/blushing virgin dynamic, which this has in spades, hehe. :D

I had no idea Stan Rogers ever made it south of the border!

I hope your grandmother is okay.

I suppose Tony Stark/Steve Rogers was kind of inevitable, now that I think about it.

This is the comment of one-sentence responses. :)

Hehe, I really like all kinds of folk music, and he's quite a legend in that area :D His music really just makes me feel better about pretty much everything.

She's doing better now than she was earlier in the week, thanks :)

At this point, it's not something I'm actively pursuing, but the dynamic of the relationship interests me. It's the whole wild child/good guy vibe, and it's a little irresistible to me, hehe :)

Stories of British-Canadian privateers setting out to steal American gold make you feel better? ;p

Though I suppose the Americans did win that fight...

I'm glad your grandmother is doing better.

I was thinking more along the lines of Field Behind The Plow or 45 Years or Lies than Barrett's Privateer's, but... well, that one's got a good beat, and it's fun to sing :D

Thanks :)
