Oh! This is beautiful! I've been simmering in exactly this level of angst after the premiere and you wrote it so perfectly!! By far, the best episode coda for me. I love that the admission of mutual feelings was tempered by Steve's fear and Danny's heavy heart. It's more realistic this way and so the following sex scene feels earned.

Oh THIS comment. You've identified my unidentified 'not so good feeling' about the car scene. It's all Steve giving to Danny and Danny not only not reciprocating but I think actually blowing off Steve's concern. I mean, the comment about being worried about his car? Total shut down. Yay the 'looks' (a la icon) are awesome but the undercurrent made me restless.
