He's harder than canon!John, yeah. I admire that he kept going when the SGC tried to push him into a corner, but it's made him harsher than he used to be.

Thanks :) I've got my own ideas for this 'verse and how things go, but I like to twist canon to fit my own needs as well.. glad to hear it's working out.
