lj question.

Is there any way I can not see that banner at the top of LJ for the next few weeks?  I'd prefer plain blue to that by a long shot. I can hardly read the words and am finding my way around mostly by knowing how far from my usepic my mouse should be to click on 'messages' and 'friends page'.

/perhaps spends too much time on LJ, to know such things

It should be gone tmrw, I think it's just a one day thing for chocolate day but yes it's hideous. Sadly I don't think we can do anything about hiding it.

After some serious thought and possible brain injury, I think it's supposed to be LJ as the Hollywood sign, some of their unique character heads as Mt. Rushmore, and possibly Niagra Falls...all made out of chocolate? And for some reason some swirly suckers. When it first popped up I just wanted to strike them down for even making me look at it.

Those are their character heads? I thought it was a giant acorn and the pac-man ghosts, all done terribly.

Yeah the...things you can buy to put next to your name? Whatever those are called. LOL, I thought it was an homage to Naruto, because it looks like the village in the show with the faces in the cliff and he's got a swirl just like that on his jacket. But probably not.
