*gapes* wow.. I'm.. Speechless. Are u sure that steve didn't take any drugs? his light-headedness and sort-of detachment reminds me of a similar story, but the guy was drugged..
Anw, wow! That was.. Interesting. Too detached for my liking, but kinda hot. I like the fact that steve trust those guys enough to do that

Remember, the whole team was post-mission and very exhausted. Running on the dregs of adrenaline and caffeine, I bet. In that condition, the reactions and perceptions of the body can be very ... lackadaisical. :D

He wasn't drugged, no. Like linnet_melody said, they were all pretty worn out from the mission, and this whole thing would have been pretty exhausting for Steve anyway. And yeah, the trust is a big factor :)
