[She'd been hesitant to open another package from the town, but curiosity wins out and soon Elizabeth is smiling again, spreading out her books on the table. Housemates feel free to notice her looking them over.

I know this may sound like an odd request. However the town does not supply many books on the history of other ( Read more... )

( She listens in on the call, but doesn't say anything at first. After all, she always did wonder how it would effect her original to know all the details of her life before it happened... becoming Queen was one thing, but...

Napoleon did say he didn't remember this place when he went back home, or rather he thought it all a dream. So perhaps it wouldn't matter? Elizabeth finds herself giving a sigh into the phone. Besides, the way this sounded she was going to find out something. Why not from someone that actually knew what they were talking about then? )

I recently got some of my books from home, a lot of them about... ( A pause. ) Well about you, so if you'd like to come over, I'd be happy to try and explain whatever it is you're wanting to know.

Mm, understandable. ( She sits upright, placing her cup down. ) Sure, you can look through some of my lesson books too, if you want.

Alright. We'll trade.

[Smiles briefly as she opens her bag and pulls out a few of her books. They're just a few books on the various things she's being taught.]

( she'll go through the pile, removing a few of her lesson books--complete with scribbled notes stuck in--and sets them down near the other before taking her lesson books and opening one up with an amused expression. )

It's all quite amazing, getting to see first hand what you studied...

Well I found all of it quite fascinating.

[Nods at her books before looking at some of the ones in front of her. Yeah, she's a nerd.]

( she flips a few pages in, curiously reading over the words on the page. )

It really is all interesting! I was taught the same things you would have learned... but I guess a couple of hundreds years between us there is some noticeable differences in our lessons.

The very bare of it is the same though... ( She flips to another page, slowly reading through some more before sighing. ) Makes me almost miss the academy.

Why do you say that?

Some of my professors were quite nice, I really enjoyed getting to spend time with them. When I was younger I might have considered them family, even though I didn't understand the concept.

... Now though I suppose I just miss the familiarity of it.

I see.

...I almost miss court. Though I suppose it will take a little more time for me to truly miss it.

I see. ( she makes a noise, something close to a chuckle but it's hard to tell. )

I couldn't imagine the whole court process... ( a sigh. )

It's quite....complicated. You have to judge everyone every word you wish to say least it be taken out of context. Court can be quite the dangerous place.

[She sighes]

But in the very least it was exciting.

Sounds like the academy almost.

I don't know about exciting back home, things were certainly getting... dangerous though.
