Well folks, this is a first for me......as not only have I not had time to post, but I have not really had time to read LJ either.  Usually I am lurking in the shadows reading and staying up to date on everyone.  I'm working on catching up, but if there is anything uber important that I should know about please do tell!

I'm stuck in my own head waaaaayyyy to much.

This is one of those side-effects of grad school...and is a symptom of your isolation. It's lonely, I know, but it won't be very long that you're going through it all. It'll be over and then you'll move on to the stuff you like to do....and you'll be isolated for a while, but it'll get better.

Lesson learned: when you move for your after-school job, try and choose places that will put you closer to things going on....if you can!

I'm glad you had a good time in Mexico. I just got back from SF, where I did the thing with those people I told you about. It went pretty well. It looks like end of April is the time when we have to go to the stuff with the other stuff at that place.
