    Perhaps 'market' is a bit of a misnomer.  'Once-a-week inside-of-a-lorry parked-behind-a-restaurant frequented-by-asians establishment' may be more accurate.  I can guarantee everything was fresh though, because much of it was still moving... everything from various fish to squid, escargots and crabs.  I was less adventurous and only bought ( Read more... )

Well I would comment on how good it looks.... but i dont like seafood so I cant. But definetly something to think about in the post. Although I love my red meat, I dont think i could skin and cook any!

hahah, no worries. To be honest, I'm not much of a seafood fan either (except for fish). I tried un escargot to be polite, but... yeah, still a snail.

one of my friends from home showed me the most graphic and shocking video I've ever seen in my life, which documented the slaughtering of one of their family cows (recall I'm from the middle-of-nowhere out West). it was much much worse than any horror film I'd ever seen, because you knew it was real.
