OK, so Mary Poppins last night was wonderful.  I got the cheap 25 dollar seats in the nosebleed section of the balcony and could still see everything clearly.  The set is wonderful, the new song additions were great, I love how they adapted certain parts of the movie to fit better in the play mode and the additions that they brought in from the

Oh my goodness ... I'm not sure how I skipped over this entry when you first wrote it, but I just found it now.

What an absolutely fabulous sounding adventure you had! I am all shades of wistful while reading this ... it brought me back to lazy autumn Saturdays in college when I had nothing better to do then to wander into the city on my own for a little while.

There really is nothing like taking a day to just explore something that you love at your own pace, and it's a special bonus when that day also involves pretty people =)

Great - thanks to you I now have half-formed plans running through my head of takign a day off in november to go visit the Met ... it's all your fault!
