Bad news: My computer died. Funeral is on Friday.

Good news: Thanksgiving is coming. Oh! and the engine was running again last night.

Oh no! I'm sorry for your loss :(

Now I'm going to offer some unsolicited advice, since I'm sure you'll be looking for a new one. If you're looking to replace it with a notebook/laptop I highly recommend Toshiba. You get a lot of computer for your money with them. They almost always have at least a 4 star user rating when I look at them on line. It's what Tim and I both have and we love them very much.

Why thank you, both for the condolences and the advice. J still thinks he can make a zombie out of it but I'm really ready to move to a laptop and wouldn't mind this being the excuse. :)

It's always something isn't it??! Thank heavens the engine appears to be alright!

I'm already kicking myself for not starting to put my lights up. Last weekend was gorgeous and warm for November (Mid 50s)! Other folks in the neighborhood were working on their displays. However, I don't believe in doing the lights until after Thanksgiving. I just can't bring myself to do it sooner.
