First move is to stop dwelling in your own self misery.
Second move is to spend less. It's the middle of a recession, and it's a problem everyone is going through. If you're not in a position to support yourself, move back in with your family. You might not like it, but its better than living on the street.
As for having a life? Well, you know where the door is, and fresh air is always good for you.
"Carefree" is rarely a part of any adult's life. That's just how it is.
Either get out there fulltime finding a job, or go back and live with your parents. And don't go asking people what game to buy when you finally have your hands on a bit of cash.
Take away the cynical vibe that should give, mean it in the best way possible. But honestly now, there's no way staying there if it's destroying you. If you're not ready to live on your own, just go home. No shame in that.
