Do the people who have the Green Thumb have the ability to give commands to the attack!fruits and vegetables? ...or maybe even just the ones they create?

Correct on both counts, however for the already existing attacking vegetables, the chances of those "obeying" those commands vary. Some may, some may not.

Okay, that makes sense. In that case I have one more question, can the vegetables be commanded to do anything other than attacking people? Like, household chores for instance?

Hakkai would also like to order some of his vegetables to tend a vegetable garden. He thinks it would be funny.
