Phase: One-quarter-full waning. By the end of the weekend, the moon will be reduced to little more than a small sliver. What is left of the moon glows an eerie orange.
Weather: Autumn has sunk its claws into Somarium. The days no longer exceed the 60s, and the evenings are very blustery and chilly. At night, the astute Sommunist might glimpse some fruit bats flitting around the darkness. Clouds hover during the twilight and dawn hours, but midnight remains creepishly clear, if pitch black. Even the stars aren't so keen on twinkling any more.
Effects: None this week, but a preemptive ominous feeling might start gripping your characters, particularly those who have begun to notice a pattern in terrifying Somarium occurrences.

- Halloween Decorations. The locals have finished putting up decorations around Somni city and Espoir village. As always, the village is decked out the most, while only certain neighborhoods in the city benefit from a high saturation in Halloween decorations. Scarecrows, jack-o-lanterns, skeletons, bats, fake (or are they real?) tombstones abound. All street lamps have been replaced with jack-o-lanterns. As always, the scarecrows may get up and follow you around on occasion, and the jack-o-lanterns may have a witty, sarcastic remark or two ready for you.
- Crime rate. Gang activity has finally started to slow and quell, the rival members seemingly satiated. Thefts are seeing a marked decrease. Violent crimes, however, will be slightly more frequent - at least one incident per day.
- Signal Post on Sunday. I won't give away any details here, but keep a heads up for a signal post on Sunday. It will concern the mysterious desert sink hole and the terrifying building-sized statue that rests atop it.
