Phase: Half-Moon Waning. The April night sky is beginning to dim, and if you look closely enough, you might see a purple flash in the sky at the stroke of midnight.
Weather: Warm and humid. Even though the temperature hovers in the 70s and 80s (Fahrenheit), the humidity is becoming stifling. There will be nightly thunderstorms starting on Thursday evening.
Effects: No matter how full and beautiful the spring vegetation may look, it continues to grow. Vines are climbing and wrapping around the sides of buildings. Roots are cracking the sidewalks. Even Somni City, which is mostly a dense metropolis of steel and technology, is starting to look a little overgrown. Weeds and saplings are sprouting between the cracks of the streets.
Notes: Careful! Don't let your characters get heat stroke. Also, in the outskirts and forests of Espoir, one may hear the distant roar of a very large predatory mammal, or glimpse the shadow of a swift-moving beast in the woods. Lions and tigers and bears, oh my -- and yet, none of the Somarium residents can ever recall hearing or glimpsing the like in Somarium proper. Don't let your children out alone.
