EVENT: Tamaki's White Day Auction
All right, I've mentioned it a few times now and it's ABOUT DAMN TIME I made a post about wtf this is and how the hell it's going to work.
Starts: Saturday March 14
Technically there's no end date because the actual auction "event" itself will take place in one designated post and then what happens after lasts for about a week or two (up to you).
WHAT THE HELL?
Okay so you're probably wondering WHAT this is supposed to be. Since we didn't have a real Valentine's Day event, this is to make up for it by using a great loophole the Japanese have offered us: White Day. This is the day that the guys give the girls who gave them chocolates back on V'day a gift in return.
So how this idea first came about is thanks to a certain redhead's dream, Tamaki had this BRILLIANT idea that it should become reality! So MEN OF SOMARIUM! Somehow you will be abducted, either by volunteer assistance that Tamaki somehow manages to wrangle up or the ghosts. You will suddenly find yourself in butler attire and looking at your best and oh so handsome~
THIS IS OPTIONAL. NOT MANDATORY.
And then you shall be auctioned off to the lovely ladies and any lucky bastards who managed to escape.
AUCTIONED?!?!?
Yes that's right~ Anyone who wants to bid on you can. The ladies (or gentlemen) will use dreams rather than money. Basically they will bid on how many dreams they will have of the guy. And they have to be cute, lovely dreams :D Don't worry though, instead of people just going really high up at ridiculous numbers, you decide ahead of time if you want to like. Just have random competition with someone for the lulz.
OR. Use the Buy it now feature :D If you use Buy it now, the character will have to dream 3 dreams of the character. And of course these don't have to be right away. But if they don't happen within a month, then something might happen B|
The dreams have to include both characters, and it must be romantic in some way. And they have to be cute*. Tamaki only wishes to see cute, happy dreams of...happiness. Something like a fun day at the beach with sparkles and flowers petals, or just having a nice day, or just cuddling close. Oh hell, the cheesy kind can work, too. Just so long as the dream has a happy, cute, romantic vibe, you should be good. HOWEVER. You can have a limit of two smut dreams :|
*Cute = character's standards. S/he may have a different definition of cute than the more common notion of "cute". That is okay. So long as it is cute to them it works :|
Despite the number of dreams the character bids, you are only required to make at least three dreams. You're welcome to have more, but at the three is absolute. The characters will find this out at the end of the auction.
By the way, a bidder can bid/buy more than one. If that's the case, then there's a discount in the dreams. Or you know. Just have them all in one dream each time. This is negotiable :3
Lets just hope it's someone you wouldn't mind serving for a while.

Yeah. Traditional to Tamaki's style, the gentlemen need to serve their new mistress/master 8D Of course, Tamaki is innocently thinking of like host serve. Not slave/master sort of thing. BUT OTHER PEOPLE COULD INTERPRET IT DIFFERENTLY.
However, the Overlord kindly asks that no torture be involved. And so for that time period, the two ~*lucky*~ people will be together :3 Always.
What if our character won't bid cos they're stupid?
There will be cards that will appear in the hands of those who are reluctant. And as usual they will be possessed and slide the card. What does the card do? It makes them be madly in love with the person they are bidding for.
:D So yeah, Overlord at hand here. If you want to participate but was afraid that your character wouldn't ICly bid even if they would because they want the person, here's your way out of that mess.
The affects only last until after the auction, though. And they will remember. And probably try to kill him/herself but oh well :D
What if no one wants us? >:
You can either pull out and get revenge via tormenting the already established bidders via crashing the threads and making them bid higher ICly, or ask someone else. This is a great opportunity for some character relationships. Or hate ones. I'm not sure. Depends on who bids on who >_>
As it is possible for someone to have a guy harem, don't feel like you're locked to one bid. However, only one bidder per guy. If he gets taken, he's taken. Can't share him :\
Ugh...So what do we do?
SIGN YOUR CHARACTER UP HERE!
So that there's not a lot of confusion, we're going to ahead and have an OOC sign-up. Sign up closes Friday, March 13. MALES ONLY. Just reply to this post with all your male characters in one comment (I'll comment first as example) and those who want to bid on them, reply to them. You can discuss OOCly on who gets who so that you'll already know how the thread will end. You can also pre-determine how many dreams will be the winning bid so it doesn't get redonkulous. Though even if it is an extremely high number, remember, it will just be at 3. But the characters won't know that until the end of the auction :D
And if they opt for the Buy it Now, another character can STILL contest for it. This would really be more for the lulz and for more entertaining threads, but unless agreed upon, the person who first used the "Buy it Now" option will get the guy.

Or something. I don't know. I would not be surprise if at some point Tamaki gathered everyone together for a giant party. Or something. And yes, Tamaki is up for grabs as well xD
