[Despite hating this world even more for putting him through the torture of having to walk around dressed as a younger version of Ezio, Desmond can't help the small smile from curling his lips as he hears ans sees the little blond girl's excitement about this whole event.]

Is this your first Renaissance Faire, Alice?

Mr. Desmond! Oh yes! I've never been to one before!

Just...'Desmond' can do, Alice. [/sobs He doesn't look that old, does he?]

I find a hard time believing this. You seem to perfectly fit in here.

Rene bought me this dress! [She twirls.]

[The hint of a smile on his lips widens to a full one as he watches her twirl]

You look...[Adorable? Cute? The last time he used that for a lady, he got his head chewed off. Well...not really, but he now knows it's not something you should use]....hum....beautiful. I can see why Ezio promised you to take you to a masquerade ball.

[He means it in a friendly way. Please don't read too much into this ;_;]

Why thank you very much! [She smiles brightly at Desmond.] Will there be a Renaissance ball later then?

I have no idea, but I have seen people dancing to the band playing, right...[He turns around slightly and points into the direction of the music]...there.

[And then realization strikes Desmond. He hides his slight horror and uneasyness well and simply gives Alice a small smile. He's going to have to dance again, isn't he?]

[She turns and follows his direction and then smiles.]

Ah, how lovely!

[He hesitates at first about following her, but then she turns to smile at him and he feels even more horrible for disappointing her by not asking her to dance. Or so Desmond thinks she will be disappointed if he doesn't. And so he takes on him and offers her his arm, leaning down so its at her level]

Would you do me the honors of dancing with me Lady Alice?

[Hey, they are at a Renaissance Faire, he has to sound like a gentleman, no?]

Really! [She hugs onto his arm and smiles brightly.] It would be my honor!

[He clears his throat and laughs a little bit sheepishly, embarrassment staining his cheeks]

I should warn you though, I can't dance for sh-....at all! I can't dance at all. You'll have to be patient with me, Lady Alice.

I'm not very good at patience.

[He tries to put on his most charming smile, which only makes him look even more like Ezio]

Well, this can be a lesson for both you and I? You in patience and I in coordination, rhythm and grace?

[Oh God, he's going to fail so horribly at this.]

I'm sure your lesson will be much easier.

Yeah, I wouldn't count on that.

[He says with a soft chuckle]

[They continue to walk to the dancing.]

You're quite clever though.
