[Frederic spied Nill as he was walking through the Faire and approached her in his costume (feather being white + sword replaced with his conductor's baton).]

Miss Nill?

[Nill turns and then waves, awkwardly slipping past the other attendees to reach Chopin.]

"Mister Chopin! You look nice!"

[He bows politely and gentlemanly to her.]

Thank you. And I must say you look very beautiful in that gown.

[silencesong]

"Thank you Mister Chopin! I've never been to a party before. It's fun! Do you like this place?"

[She smiles warmly at him and curtsies.]

It's quite different from the parties I'm use to at home, but I do not mind the change and I'm enjoying myself. [He holds out a hand to her in an offering manner, seeing the other people around them dancing.] Though since this is a place of dance... May I be allowed to have a dance with you, fair lady?

"But I don't know how to dance!"

[He probably knows how to do all those fancy ones and oh god-- Fair lady? Nill's heart is doing funny things to her brain dsfjl;kads.]

Do not worry, I can teach you. [He gets close to her, gently taking one of her hands into his and wrapping the other around her waist.] Hold onto my hand and use your other hand to hold on a small part of the skirt area on your dress.

[Nill blushes a bit as she does as she's told. Chopin knows what he's doing! She can trust him! She looks up at him questioningly as if to ask what she should do next. Come to think of it, she's never really been this close to a boy other than Heine and Bishop. How odd.]

[Frederic escorts Nill towards the dance floor as he begins to dance with her slowly in a waltz.] I will lead and you can follow, is that all right?

[silencesong]

[Nill nods and smiles brightly. She's rather nervous, but she's pretty sure she'll get the hang of this. Nill will follow his lead, a bit clumsily at first but she's a fast learner when she needs to be.]

[Frederic starts to get more into the waltz, but not going too fast so Nill can keep up with him. This dance brings back so many memories of home, but he does to keep his mind on the dance for her.]

[Nill will happily go along with the dancing. This is much more fun than just standing and watching! Still, she notices that he seems a bit distant and gives him a questioning glance. Is he okay?]

[Frederic notices Nill's expression and only smiles at her gently, an almost sad smile.] Do not be worried for me, Miss Nill. I was...only thinking about home just now.

[Oh. Nill can understand that. The girl pauses to gently reach up and touch his cheek, hand lingering in a comforting gesture.]

[Even though she's only gently touching his cheek and trying to comfort him, Frederic finds his face coloring a bright red while getting slightly nervous despite knowing she's only trying to help.]
