Probably will be a good idea to head back, don't you think? [He gives a small smile to the Serperior, her meeting his gaze and giving a nod to soon nudge him at his side. He laughs easily, patting at her neck.] I'm fine, don't worry. Things would be easy to have Herdier on me right now, he did well in the sand. [Whew, the heat was sorta unbearable after a while huh? Taking one last glance, he spotted the black figure.] ..What.. is that?
[Was that a person? In a coat? In this heat? To think there had ( ... )

It took her a moment to register the voice that called out to her, so caught up was she in her focus. But when it finally did click that someone had called out to her, she spun around. Attention gained, sir. Unfortunately though, judging by the way her hand instinctively clutched the air at her side, the way the oversized key came springing into existence, it seemed like it was the wrong kind. His words ignored for the moment, she made a direct beeline for the Serperior without a hitch. ] Behind you!

No, don't! It's okay! She belongs with me!

Regardless. It was probably a good thing he stood in front of his partner because she was pretty dead set on eliminating that oversized Heartless. Wait, did he just say...?
Xion paused in her tracks a few feet off from the trainer, keyblade still at the ready. Scowling underneath her hood. ] Belongs with you..? But that's a Heartless! [ A new kind? ...Wait a minute. ]

It didn't take him long to come across Xion, and he frowns, seeing her wandering around.]
Hey...it might help if you take off that coat. [It did look heavy, after all.]
You're going to die of thirst if you're not careful.

Either or. Xion had been in the process of mulling around what to do next since the desert was seeming to be more and more of a futile effort- a bigger part of her still persisting the idea -when Zidane had come across her. She froze upon realizing just how close she had let someone get to her before taking a step back, hand gripped at her side. Tense. And then his words hit her and she took another step back in turn, shaking her head. What did it matter to this guy anyway? ]
I'll be fine. [ Stubborn much. ]

[He leans over a little bit, tilting his head and trying to see through her hood.] You look kinda worn out to me.
[It's in his nature to care, after all.]

[ Her tone came off impatient bordering disheveled. The close approximation, the way he seemed so inclined to get close up and in her personal space. It was making her spaz on the inside while she retained herself outwardly as best as she could. ]
Why does it matter to you anyway?

So hum. A light colored desert, and a random black figure in the middle of it all-- instantly a new person to talk to! So with a small jump in her step, Colette advances forward. Hand waving. ]
Oh, hello there!

Still, it wasn't so bad once you got past the nine million degrees- and-what-the-heck-she's-not-alone.
In all seriousness though. There was a girl. Waving to her all friendly like. In the middle of all this sandy desertyness. Looking way too excited in this kind of weather.
. . . . .|
Cue... one awkward stare. ]

Instead, the girl will continue to run up to greet Xion-- if the sand didn't get caught within her run.
Stumble stumble stumble-- oops she's getting pretty close to you, isn't she?
You might want to move, or else this little blond is going to collapse right on top of you! ]
Uwah--!

....Cue a hitch of breath and a quick side step out of the way. Not to be mean, Colette. More like inner spaz mixed with an instinctual reaction. She'll be feeling like a jerkface momentarily.]

After scouting for anything strange, he was about to open a corridor to go back to the church but then something caught his eye. A black trench coat. Immediately he started heading towards it, cautiously, but the closer he got the more it looked like his own. Someone from the Organization? But, he didn't remember anyone being about his own height unless--... Only one way to find out. With that thought, he approached the back of the person]
... Hey.
[A bit hesitant, he didn't want to get his hopes up just yet that Xion was back]

But then she heard a voice.
And not just any voice but she- Was she-
Instantly, she spun around. And from there, she just... stared for a moment at him from under her hood. Petrified. Was she seeing things? Because there was Roxas and there was Roxas and what was she supposed to- She was supposed to go back and- and she had never planned on meeting him again and- -Never mind that he wasn't wearing the Organization coat. That detail would click maybe a bit later.
For now? All those other thoughts raced through her head and all Roxas would be met with was silence as she just tried to process this. ]

... Xion, right?

It didn't matter how heavy each one felt. This... This was for the better. S-She had to... She couldn't stray from what she had to do. ]
