Mulan held out the picture of Tsuna that she'd picked up from the ground at his feet, the tiniest of frowns on her face. Dressed in men's clothing with her hair cropped to a man's length, she might not easily be identified as a woman, though her voice was certainly higher than a man's.
She was a little more than curious to know how and why this man had a picture of Tsuna. She had a great sense of loyalty to the boy after he and his father had taken her in; though she hadn't known either of them long before the older of the two had been stabbed, it was possibly because of the incident that she'd developed the sense of protection over the boy that she had. So finding someone with a picture of him in his pocket, when she knew he had enemies, was a red flag.

Although, he wasn't glad about being greeted with a frown when turning to face him.
"Thank you," he said, getting the picture from Mulan's hands. Those hands were pretty delicate hands now that he took notice. He then shook his head briefly. Maybe he was seeing and hearing too much.
"You know this boy? I have been looking for him everywhere but looks like everyone here is too stupid and don't know him." That was highly frustrating for the gunman. He was able to track down and hunt countless people. Why couldn't he find a simple kid? And one that was, supposedly, quite known.

"Sometime ago I used to live here in Somarium you see? Back then, I was a good friend of Tsuna's father. At some point, we went separate ways," he stopped for a moment, to take a drag from his cigarette before continuing. "But, the news about him being assassinated reached me, well, here I am. Now, why did you want to know my reasons to be here?"
Only reason why Jigen was letting words flow out of his mouth with such ease was because he was talking business. Any other subject, and he would be stuttering and tripping all over his speech.

And certainly they were. Morrigan was standing near Jigen and smiled coyly. New comers always fascinated the waitress and she was quite interested in his story and why he was looking for Tsuna. Slowly she made her way towards him.
"Tell me..why do you wish to find this person."

He took a look at her. Pretty good looking gal, he had to admit. Just because he had a hard time relating with women, that didn't mean he didn't find them attractive.
"This kid here, is the son of a good friend of mine who was killed recently, you see? I came here to see if the boy needed some assistance," and he was also there to take care of the bastard who killed Tsuna's father, but he preferred to leave that out of the conversation.

Morrigan coyly made her way onto him, slowly leeching for information. The stranger was fine looking, good enough to be her husband, but she had to wait for a bit, see if he was taken. With a hand offered to the man, she smiled a bit.
"Well why don't you get something to eat first eh?"

At her words and the hand she offered him, he thought about declining the invitation. After all, he had an important matter at hand that needed to be solved.
Still, he was starting to get tired of wandering around the town and, in all honesty, he knew the Vongola clan wouldn't leave Tsuna alone, so he was probably safe. Maybe he could go for a meal or something.
"You are asking so nicely, I believe I have no choice but accept, right?" He picked up her hand and planted a kiss on the back of, more out of politeness than anything else.

It would probably be a familiar voice to him if he recognized it. There was a woman standing not too far from behind him. A few books in her arms with a satchel hanging over her shoulder. She happened to be walking out of a bookstore and noticed him. Yes, she could pick him out of the crowd and certainly with a glimpse of his back. How long had it been since she last saw him?

Trying to disguise his uneasiness, he turned around and looked at her, trying to force a smile to stay on his face.
"We-well, what can I say? Old habits die hard, I suppose," he giggled nervously. God, he wished he could say he was glad to see her again but... yeah.

Ema smiled all the same to him. She was glad to see him all the same.
"Apparently. Despite the smelly cigarettes you still look good."

Gosh, she was still looking gorgeous. Damn him being such a stupid, inept bastard.
"So, hm, what have you been up to lately?"

"I am sorry." He said, with cool politesse verging on nonchalance. And in the brief instant before he drew down his fedora, he took in the other man's features: the leanness of his face, his high cheekbones, the dark eyes behind a curtain of bangs. "I do not know this boy."

Jigen angrily took the cigarette he had between his lips, that was far from over, and threw it on the ground, crushing it with the sole of his shoe. Being angry like that, the gunman didn't even took the time to notice the sword the other man was carrying. If he had, he would have asked about that because, really. Who uses swords anyway?
"I can't fucking... What's wrong with the people here? How can they not know about the son of someone so important?" He sounded highly frustrated, his hand going for his forehead as he tried to calm down. People really should be paying more attention - and respect - to a kid who was probably the heir of a whole clan. That was a really big deal!

"Someone important?" He echoed, inclined to think that the man would oblige him with an explanation given how offended he seemed at his ignorance. It never hurt to keep abreast of news in Somarium - and it was impossible at this point to determine whether or not what this man knew was relevant to his interests until he heard more.

"He's just the son of a man who was the leader of one of the greatest clans in Somarium. Don't you ever heard of the Vongola clan?" Because, really. It wasn't like Vongola were a just some unimportant group or anything. They were a big deal. At least, when Jigen was living in Somarium back in the past.
