Lloyd had developed a habit at an early age of wandering and exploring when he should have been studying for school. He couldn't help it. The world was so much more interesting than anything he could read in a book.
Today was no exception. His homework could wait a little bit, he justified, and the weather was nice now that spring had arrived. Hands in his pockets, he walked down a street in Espoir. Even if he didn't find anything immediately interesting, well, it was nice just to be outside after being stuck in school all day.
Then he spotted a man who was looking at the buildings and everything strangely. Huh. "You lost, mister?"
Ragna stopped with a bit of a gasp, caught entirely by surprise by the boy next to him. He was caught off guard due to looking for and adult to speak to, but speaking to someone younger would yield the same results. Ragna gave the kid a quick scan, checking first for weapons (old habit), then noticing the boy was wearing a bright, bold, red coat. Ragna decided this kid had good taste in clothing.
With a slow turn, Ragna nodded before speaking,
"Yeah. Not sure what city I'm in. You mind helping me out?"
Not exactly red, with the wash of sepia tones affecting things, but Lloyd had always liked his jacket - especially when there was a threat of rain. Lloyd was completely unarmed, though. As far as he was concerned, he was just a regular school boy, his memory of other times forgotten.
He blinked at the question. "This is Somarium. Are you... new?" He didn't often run into the strange visitors that sometimes showed up in the city.
I'll be throwing in Tenebrae in the next month or so.deathandtrucksApril 23 2011, 16:23:23 UTC
"New?"
In Lloyd's voice, Ragna could hear how much weight that word carried, though he couldn't comprehend just what he meant. Had Lloyd not hesitated, he wouldn't have thought twice about it.
"What do you mean, new?"
And Somarium wasn't anyplace he'd ever heard of. That did make him 'new', but he would rather know what that definition entails.
Morrigan had a habit of wandering around town. The freedom of leaving that tavern she worked at, and the beauty of the sky always attracted her outdoors. She herself wanted to also look for a man to have some fun with, but today she simply had no luck in finding one.
After a while, Morrigan decided to head back and return to work. As she was walking back she happened to bump into a man looking upwards.
Still staring up, wondering to himself why there was no ceiling to this town, Ragna had no idea what or who he was walking into. With that literal bump, Ragna was nearly knocked over by Morrigan, despite the fact he was moving faster than she was. The horribly lean frame of him didn't do him much good, but it did serve to keep him from stumbling terribly much, and he did catch himself and look over to the woman he walked into so carelessly.
"Oh! Uh... Sorry. You okay?"
He took a few steps towards her (no matter what her reaction was or if she was still standing or not) and offered a hand out apologetically.
Morrigan moved to side quickly as she bumped into him. Her hair became a tangled mess and she grabbed onto the hand that was being held out to her. With a coy smile, she winked at him and held the hand gently. She felt the smoothness of it and hummed a bit.

"Fine my dear, just a bit shaken."

He dropped her hand awkwardly and took a step back, out of habit and need for personal space.
"Yeah, sorry about that. I don't know my way around here, and I was trying to find out where I was. Wasn't paying attention to where i was walking."
