[Flynn here was doing a bit of exploring when he chanced upon that pretty little tableau. Needless to say he is very curious about it. He'll be emerging from the woods now, playing it casual.]

That's a nice trick. Think you could teach it to me?

And you seem to be dear to them.

[As he chuckles, he notices that the owl was smiling at him.

It kind of creeps him out.

How rude of me, I believe I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Flynn.

[and he presents you with a most dashing grin]

Oh! [Aurora stands up and Flynn can finally see the gown and jewels Aurora is wearing in it's entirety. Auroa offers a curtsy.] It is a pleasure to meet you Sir Flynn. My name is Aurora.

You can drop the 'sir' in there, it's not like I'm anyone of importance. Just another humble servant of the streets.

[he executes yet another bow to mask a covert look at that gown. Well hello there, priceless-looking garment]

[She giggles and that's a ruby encrusted tiara on that head too Flynn.] You are a a gentleman, that's important enough.

[he notices it when it catches light from the sun. Now how does a girl who's lived all her life in a cottage go about acquiring such interesting items?]

What are you basing that on? [he finally resumes eye contact with her, and he looks somewhat amused]

Well you are very polite. [And she's only really met one other man his age.]

Is that so? [thank you, stern orphanage matron, for beating those courtesy lessons into his every bone! You will be having his full attention now, sweeting, if only so that he can get to know you better and figure out how to relieve you of your valuables] You've met many of my less-than-respectful counterparts, then, have you?

Oh no. I haven't met many people at all besides Phillip and my parents!

Why is that, if you don't mind my asking? That's only a grand total of, like, three people.

[Well, Rapunzel only ever mentioned that mother of hers so Aurora, by comparison, is a bit better off. He muses a bit and takes a guess:]

My aunts who are fairies took me from my parents to protect me from a curse. When I was sixteen I returned to the palace and my parents. [Aurora sees no reason to hide the situation, she was after all, the princess of her kingdom and most everyone knew she had been secreted away until her sixteenth.]

Sixteen, huh? I must say I didn't peg you as being so young.

[fairies for aunts, a palace and a curse... Flynn doesn't know which to bring up first. He is used to Somarium and its penchant for gathering unusual things, so rather than wariness he feels a great curiousity]

I'm not young, I'm old enough to marry.

I didn't mean to offend. I was just surprised, is all. You carry yourself like a queen for one your age.

O-Oh, I'm not queen yet. My mother and father are still reigning! [She laughs.] Phillip and I aren't even married yet. [She let out a small dreamy sort of sigh.] But we will be soon.

Big dreams for one your age. But settling down already? [there is a bit of derision in there if you listen carefully] Don't you want to see the world before getting hitched?
