[With Dastan and Tamina gone, Steve's gone back to his wandering ways. And thus finds himself not too far from where Flynn had been floating along the lazy river. He stares for a while as the man floats towards his direction and, amused by how fun this ride seemed to look, he hops onto the unconscious man's back. It's not long before he starts jumping up and down on poor Flynn.]

[Suddenly, there is a weird weight on his chest. He comes to, blinking hard at the sky. He can barely see anything though.]

Nnngh... B-blondie? [groan] 's that you...?

[Oh wait, the guy is moving. Steve holds on to the collar of Flynn's vest as he leans forward to leer at him. Have some bright yellow blinking eyes staring straight at you.]

'Steve'? What the- GAH!

[he finally opens his eyes only to find two huge blinking objects staring right back. Needless to say he is freaked.

[Hungary was just taking a short break from riding Sisi when she notices the man floating in the river. She gives a panicked look towards her horse who merely snorts and Hungary bends down to poke the person.]

[He was floating near the edge of the pool when you poked him, and he sort of fidgets a little until one of his hands smacks against the pavement with a solid THWAK.

[His jerky movements cause him to plunge into the water for a split second, but he shoots right up just as quickly, spewing water from his mouth like some kind of human fountain. Oh man, so disoriented. Where was he? He didn't recognize his surroundings at all. He wades up to what he assumes is the river bank and just collapses there, half-in, half-out of the water and breathing in short, shallow gasps.]

Ah... aaaaah... Why are these things happening to meee...

[Hungary lets out a little squeal as the water hits her and backs up a bit merely out of shock. Her horse merely moves in front of her slightly and snorts at the stranger who startled her mistress. After she gains her bearings she speaks up.]

Thank goodness, you're alive! Are you okay?

Do I look okay to you? I just got out of a bleeding cave and her hair, it g- huh?

[he seems to have realized that he is talking to a stranger.

A stranger with a white horse alskjdlkjaldjsd grabbing the nearest projectile now (which happens to be an inner tube) and backing up all the way to the other side of the pool]

You're not taking me this time, you crazy horse! Shoo! Scat!

[he maybe be waving that floater around like a man possessed, but rest assured that he is not crazy :D]

[Somehow, his subconscious recognizes that a shadow is being cast over him. And not just and shadow, but an unusually large one. Is it just him or can he just barely hear the sound of movement and metal through all the rushing water noises?

Ah, so the Guard must have finally caught up to him. Though he feels a little disoriented from that crazy escape from the mine, the prospect of being caught sets his adrenaline into hyperdrive.

First course of action: play the wounded, unconscious soldier.

[Oho but this is now the perfect opportunity for him to escape! His eyes fly open, his hand balls into a fist, and soon it comes hurtling towards your head!]

[The only dogs he's had regular interaction with are the ferocious guard dogs that usually guard the perimeter of wealthy households. The barking wakes him right up, and as soon as he's finished doing a sort of splash-panic-dance in the water, he backs himself against the opposite end of the pool and trains panicked eyes on you.]

[Nice doggie? Of course she is. Beginning to lay down, head raised as the tail behind her wags friendly so.

Does she appear more friendly? Because she's trying to, her barking stopped and her tongue is just lulling out.]

[he's a bit stunned at the change, but decides on chance (because he is getting uncomfortable from staying in the water too long). The only way out seems to be where the strange dog is standing so...
