[It's the typical scenario, what with the table set perfectly and the lady waiting upon her servant. One would think that nothing is at all amiss between the two of them as they return to their daily habits.

However there are a few things that still need to be settled and so ( Read more... )

[A lady waiting upon her servant as the servant waits upon his lady. The semantics ring nicely in such a phrase, he can't help but think, despite the fact that there is...quite a bit that he knows must be settled in this talk-to-be (and all he shall have then are semantics, mm?). He has gotten some time to adjust to his blindness, and so he finds it relatively easy to find Sharon's cup and pour tea quite easily into it, strolling over to his own seat and lifting up a plate with a small cake to lie before him; might as well strive for a slice of normalcy, and he does so like cake.

A moment's pause, and then--]

Your tea, Lady Sharon.

[The delay between the serving of the tea and the statement could almost have been comical, truly, but Break is calculating in all things, that is for certain.

...Still, he cannot help but find it a shame that he shall never be able to see Sharon sitting across from him at tea again.]

[Thus far, she considers nothing to be off. Break was constantly a strange one on his own, after all. Calmly, she takes her tea and is quite glad to have a sip as the silence settles in. There isn't any particular need for idle chatter right now, after all.

If words are to be exchanged here, she would very much like for them to have meaning.]

Pleasant as always. [A hint of a smile.] I'm glad that your time away has not hindered your ability to prepare tea.

[A pause; he waves his fork around as he speaks, accentuating his words.]

I cannot imagine why it would have! Shall I presume next that time away might hinder one's ability to taste tea?

[...lololol so how was that Alice tea anyway--

I mean.

Clink. He sticks his fork into his cake and hits the plate beneath lightly, before eating the bite.]

[Don't talk about it ever or else she will trip you, old man.

I man mean-]

I would not think so, but one's taste buds do not exactly sit underneath the same category as their ability to make tea.
