(When the Homunculus spies a young man who apparently is aimlessly going for a walk in Somni, he realizes that this is just the opportunity to engage in just as aimless conversation. The Homunculus attempts to not observe anything about the young man, not even to take in his appearance, nor delve into his emotions, nor establish his weaknesses, but approaches the young man with as much of a blank slate as his--well, conniving mind can manage.)

(Wrath's parole officer is not far away, and will ensure that no harm comes to the young man that Wrath has just approached.)

[He's hardly young -- even this body he's ended up in looks to be mid-20s at the youngest -- but Ovan can't argue his age when there's nobody to say it out loud.]

(There is nothing physical in the young man to indicate to him that the former is older than his body, but perhaps that will change. Wrath cannot help noticing that he is quite mature for his age, however.)

[Atoli was just minding her own business, making her way into the city to pick up a few things when -- she spotted someone familiar. And not someone she was the least bit excited to see.

Ovan.

She froze, unsure of what to do. Approach him? She was a bit hesitant, after their meeting before. Leave and find Haseo? She considered that, but she didn't want to look scared, even if she was nervous.

But he was Haseo friend, right? If that was true, she knew she shouldn't be frightened. Yet she couldn't get the nerve to walk over to him and speak to him herself.

So Ovan, she's just standing at a bit of a distance, watching you and trying to determine what to do.]

[Once he notices her, he faintly smiles. She shouldn't have to fear him -- he's done with manipulating her and Sakaki, after all -- but he won't force her to relax. Instead, he simply walks closer and smiles faintly.]

[See that limp right hand of hers? Yeah, she really has no clue of any manipulation that happened. She's before that. But what she does know is that Ovan was the bearer of news of Shino, and that's enough to make her hesitant around him.

She wasn't surprised to be spotted, and when she was, she lowered her head slightly, only glancing up at him ever so often.]

H-Hello...Ovan...

[Seeing her hand like that gives him an idea of when she's from. There's still so much she doesn't know and strength she needs to find in herself....]

Are you alright?

[And Haseo is quietly walking outside, he feels better not part of the damn event, and as he takes a step, he pauses, because there, in front of him is-----

"If you want your truth, you'll have to take it from me--!"

"..Why do you think I raised you like I did?"

"Destroy me!"

"Every ending is like a new beginning, don't you think that's true?"

Haseo stood completely still, staring mutely at the sight of his not-quite enemy, but not quite-friend walking casually--like nothing was wrong. The Terror of Death gritted his teeth, feeling the emotions surging inside him---all of it----his voice came out slightly choked:]

Ovan.

[he had disappeared--he was gone---so why was he---]

[Seeing Haseo isn't much easier on Ovan although it hasn't been long in his mind since they fought for the last time and he felt himself fade away with the force of the Rebirth activating, tearing away the AIDA inside him all for the sake of Aina.

He stops walking when he hears that voice and turns towards him slowly.]

Haseo...you look different from our last meeting.

I-Is that all you can say?! Since then--..you were---
[he strides towards him, and then, very fiercely, punches him!]

You bastard! You're not supposed to be here! What sort of stunt was that, huh! And Aina she's---she's waiting for you, in the real world! You're supposed to come back! [he grit his teeth]

[It was the first thing he could think to say. But before he can speak again, Haseo punches him and Ovan grabs his face, blood dripping onto his scarf.]

Aina is...awake? Then it was all worth it -- AIDA, making you stronger, everything that had to be done to push you paid off if she woke up in the end. I don't know if I'll come back.

[Ovan has a feeling this is someone else from The World, simply from his outfit seeming familiar, but the specific character doesn't seem too familiar. Perhaps he was another one of the new friends Haseo made? In any case, he can make a guess.]
