What had Eridan been up to that day? Well other than wandering and exploring this otherwise unwanted dream world, not a whole lot. He was still determined to leave here as soon as he possibly could, not allowing himself to get really settled here at all. Why get settled if he was going to be the one to find the way out? That would be silly.
Still no sign of Feferi much to his dismay, but he hadn't exactly given up hope. Either she was going to appear here or he was going to leave, either outcome was going to happen and either way he'd be happy about it. Well, as happy as the moody hipster could be about this shit. He was possibly heading out of Espoir to maybe explore the city a bit, when something--no someONE caught his eye.
He slowed his pace, staring in the direction of a certain gray person in the distance. Black hair, lanky body, four horns... Oh he knew who this was. Of course irony would make Eridan his bitch once again and send that putrid fucking disgusting freak of nature mustard blood and not his precious sea princess. He

Oh. OH. Sollux knew who's voice that belong too. He wasn't exactly thrilled to run into Eridan but it was someone familiar at least. It calmed him from the uneasy feeling he was feeling before. He turned in what he had hoped was facing Eridan, but he was probably staring off somewhere to the side of him. Oh well he was close enough.
"It means I'm blind now, that's what. Didn't think I'd be running into you anytime soon though Eridan."
He actually didn't think he'd be running Eridan ever again after the last time he saw him. The idiot wanted to join Bec Noir after all.
Eridan just stared. What the hell had happened? Why the fuck was Sollux blind? And more importantly, NOT LISPING?. It was odd and actually pretty unnerving in a way. Like something was horribly wrong. Swallowing any uncertainties he was feeling about this bizarre situation, he spoke again.
"Blind? So like Ter, but ewen more useless, because I'm pretty sure you don't hawe her weird way a seein' down pat like she does. What the fuck happened to you? Not that you probably didn't deserwe it anyway. In fact, I don't actually giwe a fuck. Come on Sol." Eridan was getting pretty heated thinking about being able to take on Sollux without interruption, using exaggerated and dramatic body language as he spoke, switching between his hands on his hips to hand motions, everything. Too bad the blind troll couldn't see the haughty display.
"We're gonna pick up where we left off on LOBAF. Right here, right fuckin' now you audacious low-blood!"
Was Eridan... was Eridan seriously trying to pick a fight with him? He didn't think it was possible for Eridan to get any dumber then he thought he was but nope. This also told him however that this Eridan wasn't from the same time as him. If he was, he would have already known they had their Round Two and that Prince Fishstick here won that.
"Are you seriously trying to fight me when I'm blind? We already had Round Two and you won. You're the reason I'm blind actually."
Jigen had made a promise to Kanaya to tell her if he saw anyone that looked like her and, since the gunman always kept his promises, upon seeing this guy who quite resembled her, he had to get near him and ask him if he also was one of those 'troll' things. Jigen used the term 'things' pretty loosely, because he actually didn't know what a troll really was.
But before asking that, there was something else more important at the moment: this boy is as blind as a bat.
Sollux turned to the new voice. The fact that he didn't recognize it made him a bit apprehensive to reply, but it did confirm that he wasn't where he thought he should be. If he wanted to get anywhere in this new place he'd need to ask questions, and perhaps get help.
"Yeah, I guess I am.... Where exactly is here anyway?"
"It's a little bit complicated, so I'm just going to give you the short version: this place here is called Somarium. It's a sort of... world of dreams, so to say."
Jigen couldn't help but imagine how hard it would be for this guy to fit into that strange weird, without being able to see.
Sollux was glad to hear a familiar voice he didn't mind talking to this time. After his run in with Eridan a while ago he'd be happy to never run into him again. He didn't think he'd be that lucky though. KK was definitely a sight- no a sound for sore ears. He gave a wave in the direction Karkat had called to him from, a smile on his face.
"Hey Kay kay. Sup? Eridan blinded me, that's what."
He wasn't really angry or anything, just ok with it.
"With that wand of his. It's my fault though, I underestimated him."
Wait why was Karkat so tired? Did he still have that stupid rule about not sleeping? Why would that even be a thing here.
"Yeah, do you need to touch my bloody gums to believe this shit or what?" Luckily for Karkat he didn't know why his teeth were missing, but hey he wasn't complaining! It was nice not to be lisping all over the place for once.

Not that Jigen knew what any of those things were, but at least Sollux was quick to understand what was going on.
"So can we leave here or what?"

Who are you?

[Sollux was never very sociable in the first place, but it was even more so with people he didn't know.]
