[Black ice. When it first appeared it didn't seem too bad but he soon learned that he was mistaken. It was so slippery he could barely get a good grip on the ground to walk a couple of steps. Then he learned what it was and just sighed.

*A minute or two after Roxas has seated himself, the heavy wooden door behind him creaks open. Danny slips through the gap and closes it behind him, trying distractedly to trap some lingering warmth with a hastily thrown-on coat.*

Um--hey... *Danny's eyes go from the empty air where the corridor was to the fellow kid.*

This is probably kind of crazy, but--did you just... You, uh, wouldn't happen to have seen anything weird out here just now, would you?

[Looks up at Danny. Did he see him walk out of it? Just to make sure though it was that and not something else-]

Weird like what?

Um... Well... It may or may not have looked like a blackish swirly portal opening in mid-air for, uh, people to walk out of.

[Yeah, he definitely saw him walk out of it. Going to take a quick bite of his ice cream before responding. He figured it Danny would find out eventually with how often he's been using the corridors lately.]

(After Wrath has encountered the boy who had slipped on the black ice, he decides to eat something. He stops in front of a store in town, but he does not know how to access his money, so he forgoes it. He is frigid from sleeping outside, as he has not returned to Salieri's house since he had so rudely left through the window.

Wrath eventually comes to a church, navigating the black ice without using his left eye. Since the black portal has disappeared, he enters the church without knowing of it, feeling somewhat warmer and slightly less irritated. However, he is still hungry, and still with a remnant of a headache all because of that damned monkey. He spies two young men on the stair of the church in conversation. One is wearing a black cloak, the other appears to be a normal human. He stands there for a while without saying anything, observing them with the utmost coldness.)

I'm so slooow.

[Has a blanket draped around her shoulders like a cape as she steps outside, surprised to see Roxas sitting on the steps. She missed seeing the Corridor open, is oblivious to the fact that Roxas can even do that sort of thing, and instead just takes a seat next to him on the steps.

Her expression is first bewildered, then amused.]

You're eating ice cream?
