What Snake probably didn't realize was, aside from military talk, she was used to the silence. Even if things seemed to be going wrong between him and Sunny to Snake, she didn't even realize it. Then again, she had been focusing on Uncle Hal. Like Snake, she also was bad at dealing with things like this as well, but her troubles were from a general lack of experience.

She jerked slightly as she looked up when she heard his voice. She hadn't expected to be talked to, and was deep in thought as she mindlessly was playing with her video games.

"Um... She hesitated, not really wanting to talk about it, but also not wanting to worry Snake. In the end, she nodded, lying non-verbally.

"No!"

She straightened up, lowering the game system and going rigid in her seat and staring at him, horrified, but also a little angry. Whatever Snake was thinking about her lack of eye contact, he definitely had her looking at him now. The thought of suddenly being alone in this world was terrifying. Even if there was Frank, and Naomi, and Meryl here, she couldn't even imagine living with them for more then a few days.

... Did Snake really think that she would feel that way? Maybe if she just had been honest that wouldn't be true.

"I-I'm not okay! Uncle Hal d-didn't even s-say goodbye!
