[Tohru comes home looking a little worse for wear. One of her hair ribbons was missing, her coat and her face was covered with coal and to top it all off, the top of her head was covered in snow. She shuffled the bags in her arms

[Kyou had heard Tohru's approach before she even got to the door. Cat hearing and all that. He heads to the door with his hands in his pockets to greet her but instead notices the disarray that... well, she was in.]

What happened to you?

[Somehow, he felt "I fell" wasn't going to be the answer this time.]

U-um! [Trying to tuck a lock of her hair behind her ear, shifting the bags in her arms. The short version of it was...] The snowmen! Th-They were attacking this poor girl and, and--!

--And you went and decided to help her. [Typical Tohru behavior. He moved toward her, taking the bags from her arms and putting it on the nearest surface.

He knew how the scarecrows could be at times so he understood why attacking snowmen was a possible scenario in this world.]

Just how bad was it anyway?

[Of course. What do you expect from her? She wasn't able to protest fast enough when Kyou took the shopping bags from her. With a sigh, she removes her soiled coat and other winter paraphernalia in order to store them into the closet. She'll wash them first thing. Tohru wipes a bit of the coal off her face and tries to brush away the left over snow in her hair.]

They were throwing coal and--and snowballs!! It was so horrible, Kyou-kun!
