[Travis was never one for waiting. He was getting restless and had to keep his hands occupied to pass the time. For a while he considered watching an episode of some anime he had picked up a while back. It should be enough

[ Angela has only been to this part of the city once before, but thankfully she's pretty good about remembering landmarks like the apartment building-- it's really the only way to find your way around in her world. At least buildings tended to be a lot more distinctive than trees.

She's a little unsure of where the entrance is, but thankfully she hears movement from the garage, and checks there first. And there's Travis with some kind of... odd-looking machine. Angela's starting to get used to being confused by most the things she sees here, coming from a world with very little technology to speak of. ]

[Travis was just checking the tire pressure when he heard Angela from behind. About time she got here. He brings himself back to full height, propping whatever gear he had brought out onto a nearby table.]

It's a motorcycle. Didn't have any of these where you're from?

[ She shakes her head, getting a look at the thing from all sides. ] Looks like a bicycle.

It's pretty much the same thing. Only this one's got an engine in it. And a damn good one, too.

[He pats the engine of the motorcycle. Sure, he had Schpeltiger back home and even that packed a bigger punch but he's gotten used to his own ride here.]
