[Well, the music has certainly drawn in a certain god of sun, light and arts. Music too, if you want to get technical. He's particularly partial to good music, and while he's been a little more than appalled by the modern variations of what people now call 'music', it's nice to hear something vaguely traditional.

And so he is now perched on the slanting lid of your piano, listening to you play. Don't mind him at all.]

[Oh, you don't have to tell Austria to not mind that sort of behavior. In fact, while he's playing, he's so absorbed in his music that he doesn't even notice Apollo sitting there. Music requires the utmost concentration and all that. It's not until he's done with whichever movement of the Sonata he was playing that he looks up and notices Apollo sitting there. On his piano. Excuse him while he stumbles back a bit out of surprise, not looking very dignified or anything of the sort as he does so.]

I--What do you think you're doing?

[... damn, the music stopped. While the reaction is amusing, it's a little regrettable when it comes to the sacrifice.

A scowl.]

Listening. [Why is it that mortals insist on asking such redundant questions?]

Why is it that you have stopped? Go on, play.

[Give him a sec as he straightens himself out and dusts imaginary dust off his coat. You know, the sort of thing people that want to look dignified and sophisticated do to try and recover after a not-so-dignified or sophisticated moment.]

I would think that would be obvious. Most people would stop their playing upon discovering another person sitting atop their instrument.

[She knows what week it's been for all the nations in Somarium what with Spain leaving, but it's clear the Austria is probably suffering the loudest in the best possible way he can. She watches from the doorway, a tray of tea in her hands and makes her way silently over to the piano, placing it on the little table beside him before taking a seat and waiting patiently for him to finish.]

[Wife-Husband-Thing, you are so considerate. He appreciates both the tea and the not interrupting part, since nobody else here seems to have manners. When he's done with whichever piece he's on at the time, he turns and glances at the tea she brought before looking at Hungary.]

Might I ask what this is for?

I know that you usually like to enjoy a cup of coffee after you're done playing.

I thought that it might be appropriate.

[That was so very nice of you, Wife-Husband-Thing, so you can have a small, awkward Austria smile, since he does appreciate it very much.]

Thank you, then, Hungary. If you aren't planning on doing much today, you are more than welcome to stay here and listen, if you would like.

Hey! I wrote a song like that over a hundred years ago! You feel really excited, don't you?

Naaaamja! Na, na, na! Jam, jam! Namja! Namja!

[ It's in tune, but... ]

[why you gotta interrupt, Korea? He's not even going to talk with you because he is nowhere near done with this movement. He's just... going to keep on playing. If you're paying attention to him, though, his playing does look a bit stiffer and more irritated.]

Hey, you look really tense. You should sing, too! It's relaxing!

[ That stool seems to have enough space for a second person. Korea plops his butt down and continues singing. ]

Ja, ja! Na, namja! Na, namja! Namja!!

[No, there is not enough room, go awaaaay. Austria tries to emphasize this lack of room (even though there really is enough room) by scooting over and trying to nudge Korea off the bench. He's still not talking yet--interrupting a movement to talk is not what he does, after all--but his current piano playing form would make Mozart wince in pain. So stiff and inflexible and just. Not proper piano posture at all. In fact, it will probably make Austria wince, too, when he looks back on it. But for now and the next few measures, there will be angry, angry pianoing.]

[ You have a random guy bursting into yo' house. That music -- he can't stand it! Koutarou kicks his door down and stomps right to where the music is coming from. He was running it through his hair angrily but now he's pointing it. At you. ]

You! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?

[Um, excuse me, this movement is not yet finished. Would you believe me if I said I almost typed 'not yet finished' in German? Anyway, once he's finished with these last few measures (since he can't stop in the middle, of course), he just turns around and gives Koutarou an irritated Austrian glare. You broke his door! And interrupted his playing! What kind of society did you grow up in, Koutarou? Have you no manners?]

I was performing Beethoven's Piano Sonata Number 8--commonly known as Pathétique--before you so rudely interrupted! Really, if you wished to speak, the least you could have done was wait until I was finished with this movement, you idiot! It's incredibly rude to interrupt a musician while he's playing!

H... Hey...

[ Still pointing the comb challengingly, he remains in his pose until the song is over. Did you just ignore him? Really? THAT'S NOT SMART! Maybe you should start writing in German because it can't make you look not smarter! When Austria finally stops addresses him, he starts running the comb through his hair excessively. Obviously he is loosing his cool. ]

What's with the piano playing? It's not smart!

[EVERYTHING GETS IGNORED FOR MUSIC. THIS IS THE FIRST LAW OF AUSTRIA. Ich werde auf Deutsch schreiben, aber ich verstehe Deutsch nicht, so ich muss auf Englisch schreiben. English oder Japanisch, aber Österreich versteht Japanisch nicht. So English it is. And Austria is not pleased with that answer one bit, no sir. His expression doesn't really change all that much, but he does look a bit more irritated, if such a thing were possible.]

What about piano playing classifies it, to you, as 'not smart'? You are actually quite mistaken, you know. Musicians are some of the most intelligent people in the world; playing an instrument isn't just sitting down and banging one's fingers on the keys or plucking the strings or anything of that sort, you know!
