[Lelouch was on his way out of his mansion in Espoir to take care of some business he had with a few of the residents. There were connections to make and he still needed to meet with Miles Edgeworth once more concerning an internship with the prosecution office... At any rate, Lelouch had things to do.

He hears somebody yell, asking the whereabouts of a flea as he is leaving his property. Flea? Things were as they usually are in Espoir... However, he is a little surprised to see a streetlamp bent at a 45° angle followed shortly by a tall blonde bartender stomping by muttering a "kill" mantra. How interesting.
