Turning halfway on the seat to look at the Assassin, Lara couldn't help herself and laughed softly at his comment. She then smirked teasingly:

"It's called a motorcycle. And don't worry, Altaïr. I promise to take really good care of you..."

Even though she knew the man enough to anticipate the innuendos to fly over his head, she couldn't help stop herself from making it either, for her own amusement, to the least.

"Though, there is a few tricks you need to know. First, you will have to lean forward, against my back. Also, when I negotiate turns, you'll need to lean into the curve, not against it, or else you'll counterbalance the bike and make it difficult for me to drive it. And lastly, you'll need to hang on tight." And so saying, seeing as it was obvious Altaïr hadn't figured out how to hang on to the bike, Lara reached for his right hand and wrapped his arm around her waist, letting the man take the hint about his left arm. If he was too shy to hang on to her, her back pack strapped in front of her offered a good ( ... )

Lara raised an eyebrow at that statement: "It sounds as though you've had an annoying run-in with the Inspector." Her tone was slightly teasing, but this was the second time the man had spoken of the Chief of Police, and from the impression the young woman had of those two times, they hadn't agreed on something. Something that made the law man being depicted as strict.

She watched, perplexed, as the Assassin tried to push one the many blades off the arms of the statue. From her point of view, it didn't seem to budge.

"Any luck?"

Circling around the base once again, Lara tried to come up with reasons why part of the statue would move. Especially parts that could be moved by wind. Was this also posing as some sort of a windmill? Did it had any connections to how to move the statue?

"He takes exception to the way I prefer to cross the city even before he knew what it was that I did. And he arrested one of my brothers in this city." Still a sore point for him. He hadn't taken lightly to that and he was sure it would only be a matter of time before something happened to draw the Inspector's eye whether it be one of his actions or through a dream he had no control over.

"None!" He called back down, transferring his other hand to one of the blades, swinging back and forth before he dropped back down, bending his knees as he did so. "Is there in purpose to the blades moving at all? It escapes me if there is one."

"Ezio?" Because, really, what would an one armed man that fall asleep while fishing do to warrant an arrest? The Italian brother was more likely to have been the one in trouble. Though, as Lara realized that there might have been more than Malik and Ezio as members of Altaïr's order in this world, her curious gaze moved from the Assassin to the statue as she shook her head: "You don't have to tell me." It was easy to understand that anonymity was a key point for their survival.

Tilting her head, Lara hummed slightly as she thought of his question: "Well, I can think of a few, but none makes much sense. I suppose that part of the enigma will be clarified as we learn more about the statue. At worst, it is simply decorative." But the young woman wasn't convinced of that. If she has learned anything from the tombs she raided was there was never anything for nothing.

"No, not Ezio." He withheld the name from her because there was no need to bring Dastan into it at all - he wasn't fully one of them yet and that offered him a certain degree of anonymity.

"Perhaps this lock and key idea is far more complicated that initially anticipated." He looked up at the blades, moving ever so slightly in the wind as the sun caught them too. "The movement might be important somehow but I cannot think of why that might be." A frustrating thought but there was very little he could do about it at this moment in time, not without learning more about the statue and where it had come from.

She simply nodded at his answer, not pressing the matter further. Though, if she had been honest with herself, it was too bad Ezio was not the one that had been arrested. It would have made great teasing material for the Italian.

"It always is..." she murmured as she shielded her eyes from the glint of the sun of the blades. If temples and tombs were easy to unlock, everyone would do it.

"I don't think there is any more we can find here, for the moment. Obviously, until we know a bit more about this world and its making, we won,t be able to find a way to move this statue and unlock the doorway to that hole the inscriptions mentioned", Lara said with a small sigh. It was time to regroup, dig a little more before assessing the situation wholly.

"We could both do research on our own and then bring it together when we feel we have gathered enough. We can then put that without whatever we are able to learn from Alice and try to work out a few theories." It was all he could think of currently, asking around for more opinions of the statue from those who might understand better or who had been in Somarium longer and knew of the odd happenings.
