After he had left Mahdi outside Malik's cottage, he had returned to the bureau to pack what he might need for the trip along with a few things he had liberated from Malik's kitchen, all slipped into the pouches on his belt along with a water skin he had managed to find when he'd ventured out to the shops around. To him, it was still far more than he would usually take with him but probably a lot less than others would take. He'd included some loose sheets of paper from the book in his bureau and writing tools to make notes if anything caught his attention and after checking that the roof hatch was securely locked along with checking the coordinates Lara had sent, he set off into a run across the rooftops ( ... )

She nodded at the Arabian, looking up from her Dreamberry: "Good morning, Altaïr. Are you ready?"

Not truly waiting for his answer, she slipped the phone into the jacket's pocket and perched herself on her bike, giving the man an amused smile:

"Would you care to try something new yet again?" she said as she indicated the empty seat behind her. Are you adventurous enough, Assassin?

He'd been in a car before with Malik at the wheel and he was confident that Lara was probably better at driving that...whatever it was than Malik. And she had two arms which he assumed was a plus when working things of that nature.

So with great care he perched on the empty seat, not sure what to do with his hands right now. And to think he'd found the saddles of the horses uncomfortable at times.

"If anything happens to me while on this," death machine, "contraption then I will not be best pleased."

Partly teasing maybe but an awful lot serious. Ezio and Malik would never let him live it down if he got hurt while out with her.

Turning halfway on the seat to look at the Assassin, Lara couldn't help herself and laughed softly at his comment. She then smirked teasingly:

"It's called a motorcycle. And don't worry, Altaïr. I promise to take really good care of you..."

Even though she knew the man enough to anticipate the innuendos to fly over his head, she couldn't help stop herself from making it either, for her own amusement, to the least.

"Though, there is a few tricks you need to know. First, you will have to lean forward, against my back. Also, when I negotiate turns, you'll need to lean into the curve, not against it, or else you'll counterbalance the bike and make it difficult for me to drive it. And lastly, you'll need to hang on tight." And so saying, seeing as it was obvious Altaïr hadn't figured out how to hang on to the bike, Lara reached for his right hand and wrapped his arm around her waist, letting the man take the hint about his left arm. If he was too shy to hang on to her, her back pack strapped in front of her offered a good ( ... )
