The young soldier that resided in the church was entirely unaware of Liquid's murderous intent. With the other residents of the church currently out, Frank had taken it upon himself to keep busy - weeding out the church's garden tended to be the task of the day. He was at the front of the building, crouched down by the rose bushes near the entrance, using his machete to carefully hack away the dead flowers and scrub. His uniform with its elbow-length gloves provided adequate protection for this task.
He took no notice of the man approaching. It wasn't that the boy didn't sense someone's approach, that he did - yet he remained absorbed in his task, focusing on the completion.
Liquid stopped a short distance away from Frank. He hadn't made any effort to be quiet; he wanted his opponent to know he was there. It wasn't Liquid's style to go in for sneak attacks-- they were going to fight head-on, face to face and strength against strength.
The voice serves to catch the boy's attention. Moving away from the bush and rising, his eyes move to regard Liquid's form - he's spoken to this individual before, seen this man in Snake's dreams. He isn't someone to trust.
Frank steps away from the bush, his movements careful and deliberate as he steps onto the dirt pathway. Sharp eyes never leave the man's form, his grip steadily tightening on the machete in hand. How does he know his name?
If he knew that the name Frank Jaeger was connected to Grey Fox, he wouldn't have approached the other soldier so rashly. He recognized the face from one he'd seen over the Dreamberry, but he had no idea how dangerous he could be.
"Then you're the foolish boy who attacked my dear brother." He crossed his arms over his chest. "I've come to kill you for that offense. No one spills Snake's blood but me."
