WOODS givemenames September 24 2010, 06:18:36 UTC
Creeping through the woods, the assassins moved without a sound, Altaïr leading the way as he kept an eye and ear out for the stirrings of wildlife. His hawk flew a little ahead of him this time and he tracked the bird too; it was doing well so far and he was confident that it would prove to be valuable in the future.

She lifts her head from her sleep, her ears twitching and she shakes her head and stands. Deep purple eyes gaze around before pausing on a tree.

The horse had startled him at first as he hadn't seen any in his previous trips through the woods, the bright white standing out against the backdrop of the trees. He stared hard at it and when Malik's hand touched his arm he jerked his attention away from the horse and to his brother.

Why was he talking to the horse?

He looked back again and shrugged the hand off, stepping forward to approach the horse, unsure as to whether or not it would be wild or not. But still, horses were often far less skittish than deer so he held one hand out in front as he stepped towards the animal.

ESPOIR givemenames September 24 2010, 06:19:16 UTC
Not wanting to be weighed down with their catches or with supplies such as water and food, Altaïr and Malik ventured back and forth through the village, often carrying the spoils of the day with them.

Alice was out and about. Simply because her body had suddenly turned eighteen even though she was not mentally she was not going to stop enjoying the festival. She hummed a soft little tune that was nothing but nonsense notes. She had been quite glad that they kept her clothes from the last time she had been turned ten years older.

The not-really-eighteen-year-old was walking through Espoir with a basket full of apples and Basil on her arm. While there weren't as many flowers, the scarecrows were kind enough to let her pick from the orchards and the fields.

There was something familiar about the girl in a way he couldn't quite place as he tried to keep Mahdi from pecking at the rabbits he had tied together although it meant that it was his fingers that kept getting nipped at instead as the hawk screeched angrily at him.

"You have fed enough today," he muttered to the bird and it let out another angry call. Approaching the young woman, he studied her again, wondering why he felt as though he should know her face but he shook his head and nodded to her in greeting.

"Safety and peace," he said quietly and the hawk flapped over to investigate her and the contents of her basket.

LAKE MERIDIAN givemenames September 24 2010, 06:19:29 UTC
Altaïr personally had never had much opportunity to fish in his life but as he sat out by the side of the lake, watching the water, he had to admit that perhaps it would be something he would take up on the rare occasion when he needed to think away from the bureau.

Although the festival was nice to look at and enjoy, A.B.A had gotten her fill so far. She lived around the area it was taking place and just needed some peace away from it. She didn't understand how humans could celebrate for such a long time.

So, she traveled away to a much quieter part of Somarium and remembered the catboy telling her about some sort of lake. That sounded nice and peaceful and was sure to have no celebrating around it. Once she actually made it there though, A.B.A noticed the area wasn't vacant.

She was cautious until she actually recognized one of the men sitting at the lake. That was enough to prompt her to stop being cautious and hurry over to stand between the two.

"Hello, Malik," she greeted her friend then looked to the side at the other man. "And person I don't know."

Holding his fishing rod with one hand, Altaïr turned and looked up at the newcomer, eyes widening as he caught sight of her head. Was that a key of some description? Embedded in the girl's skull? It was difficult not to stare at it and wonder how she was able to function with what should have been a fatal injury.

Eventually though he managed to move on from that line of thinking and nodded to her.

"Greetings, I am Altaïr," he said, looking over to Malik briefly. "A friend of Malik's from our homeland."
