Who: hides_thedagger and somarium
Where: Set up field in Espoir
Style: Starts in third, but either is fine
Status: OPEN!! This can be used as the generic 'MINI-RODEO' post as well! Feel free to have your characters be tossed around by bulls or horses! Or have them cheer for the lunatics trying it! There's nothing sexier than a cowboy/cowgirl, right?

Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys. 'Cos they'll never stay home and they're always alone. Even with someone they love. )

Since Dastan and the others had been kind enough to let him out of the cottage willingly for once, Ezio had taken advantage of it. He had already wandered about a bit, admiring the decorations and festivities set up along the streets. While it was nice, welcomed and relaxing, something nagged in the back of his mind. This place was full of surprises, but with all the good, came the bad. He wouldn't let the negative thoughts ruin his fun, no, but they were there to make sure he was always on his toes. Expect the worse, and you won't be surprised, that seemed the best route to take ( ... )

Over the grunting and the groaning, both from the horse and the rider, as well as over the cheering crowd, it was impossible for Dastan to hear his brother's voice. He heard barely the bell and eyebrows furrowed as he held on as long as he could. Those moments were the ones where the bonus point were compiled, the old cowboy had told him ( ... )

"Can you read minds now, fratello?" He teased back when the man approached, raising his good arm to clasp his brother's in greeting. He couldn't help but grin as he looked the man over, "You always get to have all the fun. You're making me jealous," but not really, because he had been getting gaggles of women following him all over the place since he arrived.

He glanced over to the ring again, and inwardly wished he could join in the festivities. This broken arm was such a nuisance. What a terrible time to suffer such an injury, because he knew he could have totally beaten his brother's time on the horse. Duh.

"Only the one tracked ones, brother!" He returned the greeting and laughed slightly:

"I suppose that's my reward for being a good boy," he teased, nodding to the broken arm in the sling. It was probably a good thing that Dastan had been the first one finding the rodeo ring. He felt that otherwise he would have watched his brother be stupid to impress ladies yet again. And there was no way the Italian would have been able to beat his time. He had practically been born on a horse.

"How have you been, Ezio?"

They hadn't had the chance to talk since the older brother had sent the Prince to help with the brothel's repair. The Persian still had to tell his brother what had happened and how Paola would probably need both their financial support to repair the building.

[Hungary had only overheard the fact that there was a rodeo. She wasn't exactly sure what a 'rodeo' was (it did sound like something America may have enjoyed though) and she had only suggested to Austria that they go see what it was about.

Once she sees the horses though, she immediately drags Austria towards the fence.]

Ohhhh, Roderich! Look at how lovely they are!

[Austria also had no idea what a rodeo was, but Hungary wanted to go, so off he went. He's not looking too pleased, since it looks to involve mud and dirty and riding dirty horses that aren't really nice and pretty and clean like his famed Spanish Riding School horses back home.

As he's dragged off to the fence, Austria kind of stumbles a bit, since he wasn't exactly expecting to be pulled to look at horses.]

They are something, yes. They seem to be rather, ah... Lively, to say the least.

[Hungary's almost staring dreamily at the horses and the person ontop of the horse mostly out of adoration.]

I think that's Prince Dastan ontop of the horse. Doesn't this look fun?

[takes a closer look at the horse and the horse rider. Hmm, so it is.]

I think so, as well. He's very talented, it seems. [He has to pause for a bit because fun isn't the word he'd use for that.]

If you know what you're doing, I'd imagine it's fun, yes.

So all we have to do is stay on?

Sounds simple enough.

And I suppose not get hurt, but where's the fun in that?

[He likes butting into conversations.]

[blinks at the new voice but only gives him a grin]

It wouldn't be part of the fun if you didn't get a bruise here or there. [nods her head toward where the current contestant was getting bucked off] Gonna have a go at it?

I would love to, but the sun is too bright. If it's still going on later tonight, then I definitely will.

And you?

[There is an excited alien sitting on the sidelines, hiding under his purple umbrella. He really doesn't care for silly games like this, but he wants to see people get thrown around wildly.]

These animals are interesting! What are they called?

[He's pointing to the potentially scariest looking beast.]

[That umbrella looks a bit familiar... Orange hair too? Hmm, may be just a coincidence...

A dark blue-haired teenager with a bad slouch will approach Kamui, also content on just observing from the sidelines.]

That's a horse. [...Well, 'bronco' is still a horse, just the term used to describe an untrained one.] You've never seen one before?

Nope! There's nothing like this where I come from.

[And he's only been to Earth a couple of times anyways.]

[He nods. ...Maybe he'll ask more questions later.]

A horse is an animal that you could ride on as a means of transportation. It has to be tamed and obedient first, though, so when it's wild, this happens. [He gives a slight jerk of his head towards the rodeo.] People took advantage of that and made it a game of thrills, to see how long someone can last on an untrained horse before it throws them off.
