2ND DISTRICT hunterinside September 22 2010, 22:44:36 UTC

Drizzt was pleased to finally head out on patrol on his own, instead of shadowing that officer that he had been assigned to. The lone drow stalked the streets with a purpose, keeping his violet eyes trained on everything and everyone he may come across. The second district was bustling with life in the early evening hours due to the festival, so he needed to keep a sharp eye on everyone as he passed. Luckily, with all the hustle and bustle, no one really batted an eye at the dark-skinned elf walking through the streets.

Minato was on his way home after helping out at the store today. There is no school this week and he wasn't obligated to show up for his part-time job and help out at the grocery store, but with the festivals going on, he did so anyway.

So it was that at the end of the day his Somarium native manager shoved a large sack of apples on him and insisted that he took those home; the harvest has been excellent this year. It would have been more trouble to turn down the nice man that to carry the still somewhat heavy load, but he'll manage.

The dark-skinned elf does catch his attention and makes him pause slightly. Is he... a Drow? Recalling his previous meetings with one who has long returned to his world since, he still can't help but stare for a bit.

Drizzt was all too accustomed to staring, but that didn't mean he was ever really comfortable with it. So when he saw the other looking at him, he just stopped, keeping his distance in the crowd for a few seconds longer before approaching. Maybe he needed something? Or maybe he was just horrified by him. Either way, it didn't really matter, did it?

"Hello," He lifted a brow up, offering a small smile so his next words didn't sound so rude, "Is there something you needed?"

Minato blinks, and then returns the greeting with a faint and somewhat sheepish smile.

"...Ah, no. I apologize for staring. You reminded me of someone." ...Though he does realize that he was more reminded of a race, seeing that he only spoke to one Drow previously.

Then he notices.

"You are a police officer?"

4TH DISTRICT hunterinside September 22 2010, 22:44:55 UTC
By the time he arrived at the 4th district late into the evening, Drizzt was pleased with how things were heading. So far all he had done was stop a few petty thieves, handed out warnings, and all those mild misdemeanors that could easily be dealt with without much hassle. He knew it wouldn't always be this easy, but he never assumed as much. This time around, he was walking the silent streets with Guenhwyvar at his side, occasionally sending her off to patrol on her own and check the side-streets for the sake of convenience. So far the patrol wasn't that interesting. He'd much rather it that way.

Get out this side of my town, hoe. D:< brbblending September 22 2010, 23:44:52 UTC
An after dinner stroll seemed appropriate for what dinner encompassed, she needed to get some air today. The girls were particularly noisy and hard to behave today, leaving the poor courtesan somewhat exhausted.

Her feet, despite one being damaged, worked fine and made brisk work over the streets and alleys that she blends into. No one can hardly see her and that, she assumes, is the reason why she has a collision. No one is ever on these streets but her courtesans and men, the thieves travel by roof. When she suddenly turned, with her eyes closed and fixing her long lock of hair she hadn't expected to collide with the man. Paola was very off-guard at this point and managed to stagger, with great difficulty back to her feet. It hurt, using the injured ankle she'd been babying.

I believe you are the ho, madam. hunterinside September 22 2010, 23:53:11 UTC
In the dark, Drizzt's eyesight improved significantly. Being that he grew up in the constantly heated, dark underbelly of the Earth, his infrared eyes could see things most people could not in the dark. It was a good trait to have, as he could easily see people coming, but when the woman collided with him, his sights had been set on the pair of golden eyes in the distance. He had sent his feline companion off for all of a moment, and that distraction was long enough for the woman to hit him.

Reflexes kicked in, and not a second after the collision did Drizzt's hand extend to grab the woman's arm, pulling her upright and steadying her.

"Excuse me, miss," was all he offered, his hood down to expose the violet eyes, the white hair, and the dark skin. "Are you alright?"

... ... ... You're very rude, sir. Enjoy your spaghetti. brbblending September 22 2010, 23:57:28 UTC
Confusion. What exactly was this man. He had skin as black as night yet his hair was white as snow, it would seem. He was no doubt a man, that much she new but as she squinted to take in all the details that turned out to be all she new. She caught herself studying him for a moment and then finally coming to her senses on standing by herself, instead of letting him support her.

She was asked a question, a concern about her health. She should probably answer that instead of looking like a freak, staring at him, mouth slightly ajar. "I'm fine. Thank you. Are you?"
