Liquid had decided to stop in at the tavern while he was out and about-- just to grab a quick drink before he went home. He didn't plan on staying long; just long enough to enjoy a finger or two of whiskey and then be off on his way. Despite his reputation, Liquid wasn't always out to cause mayhem.
He took a seat at the bar and ordered, and when he went to pick up his drink he found that, on the counter right next to it, there was a card. Which was odd, because he didn't remember the bartender setting one down with the glass, and he didn't think that it had been there when he sat down. The soldier picked it up and examined it, trying to figure out exactly what its purpose might be. Very strange...
He had the strangest compulsion to check his Dreamberry at that moment, too. And when he took it out, there was a little slot on the side that he could swipe this card through. Well, since he had it, he might as well swipe it, right? It might give him some clue as to what the thing was for.
Swipe.
...Huh. It didn't seem like anything happened--
All of a sudden, Liquid felt a little... top-heavy. As though he'd suddenly gained ten pounds right on the front of his chest. And his trousers felt like they didn't fit quite right.
He looked down.
Instead of the firm and very masculine chest he was expecting to see, Liquid got an eyeful of a pair of very nice breasts that were now attached to his body. The reason his trousers felt odd was because he had all of a sudden gained hips.
Liquid had turned into a woman.
He looked up, picked up his glass, and knocked back what alcohol remained in it. Then, in a voice that was altogether too calm for a man who suddenly found himself with an X chromosome he'd never had before, gestured to his glass and said,
"I'm going to need another one of these."
