Who: Danny, Frank, and Roxas if he wants! Where: Church of Roses' kitchen Style: Either! Status: Open to Church residents! ( He's in their Church, bakin sum bred. )
Frank was indeed in the kitchen, somewhere Danny likely didn't expect him to be. The young soldier had only recently moved into the church and was rarely seen by the two residents that lived there. Normally busy with his job in a factory in the Industrial district, today was one of Frank's off days, a chance for him to recover from everything
( ... )
"Don't be sorry," says Danny automatically, looking around. After taking in the pan in the oven, the weird dough-mass in Frank's hands, and the materials scattered systematically around the kitchen, Danny comes to a conclusion. "... Are you making bread?"
Frank glances over his shoulder once more and provides a curt nod in response. His hands busily work at kneading and rolling out the dough, vigorously working it.
"I learned to bake it some time ago. I find it calming... The one in the oven should be complete. Will you remove it for me?"
After a brief hunt, Danny locates the pot-holders and takes the bread from the oven, avoiding the oven's hot air. The bread gets set down on the closest available space, and Danny tugs the 'gloves' off, dumping them somewhere else.
With that task done, he finds himself watching his friend knead. At home, he used to migrate through the kitchen in search of tasty morsels before dinner. Here, sneaked foods are the last thing from his mind: his friend is cooking. This is better than good, it's another victory for Danny's quest to integrate his friend into humanity. Danny has no skill or history in cooking, but he knows he needs to encourage this somehow.
