[After a short yet completely irritating game of "follow the smoke" she stumbles upon a completely leveled building wall, flaming in the aftermath of an idiotic explosion. She rushes to the area, looking around for the red clad culprit.

And there he is, looking completely and totally innocent. She has to will herself not to go up to the man and punch him in the face, as it seems like a tempting greeting in this case. She stomps up to him, and holds a hand out toward the smoldering wall, a look of confused anger splashed across her face.]

What the hell is that?

Oh, good you came. Looks like the landmark worked.

Leveling half a building isn't considered a landmark.

[So Chii was just walking through Somni like she usually did, thinking today would be another typical day for her.

Apparently that was not the case.

Now, Chii has never seen or heard an explosion before so it's not so much the cause of the explosion that's confusing her, it's more so the question of what is it.

So here Ragna, have a very confused and dumbfounded Chii standing in the middle of the street looking in the direction of where the explosion was.]

Well, it comes from the word 'fascinare', 'to cast a spell on'. Back in the old days, it was generally associated with evil spells and such.
