[Newbies are always easy to recognize. The lost look on their face, the surprise in their eyes as they look at the floating castle. Those were sure signs of new arrival in Somarium.

Of course, all those signs were on the young woman's face and Estelle felt compelled to walk up to her]

[That definitely surprised Claire. She wasn't expecting there would be people in this strange new world besides herself.]

Oh god! I thought it was the scarecrow!

Oh! I'm so sorry! I really didn't meant to startle you, Miss!

[She gives a quick glance to the scarecrow before shaking her head]

Oh, they don't talk!

[Lets out a sigh of relief.]

Actually, I'd be more worried if they can move.

Angelina was wandering around when she noticed a young girl doing the same. But this girl looked much more startled than the woman was. Could it mean she is as new to this place as Madame?

Noticing that the girl was looking up at the sky, Madame Red raised her head just to see a floating castle. She had definitely missed that.

"This place is quite unusual, isn't it?" Angelina addressed the girl.

Claire turned to look at the other woman. She noticed that her clothing was really outdated (and also the obvious fondness of red can be seen). Maybe Somarium also took people out from the past? Probably goes both ways, taking people from different time periods too.

"I think we already went past unusual and landed right on the bizarre."

Because really, you don't see moving scarecrows or a floating castle in the sky as a part of everyday life, now don't you?

Madame Red laughed. What a witty girl. She liked that.

"That's fairly true." It took just another look at this girl, how she looked, acted and talked, to make Angelina very interested in her. "Would you care to share your story - how did you get here - to me?"

Claire gave the older woman a strange look. Share your story, she says. I would if I have any idea how I got here!

"Uh, let's see. All I remember is falling asleep in my dad's car and waking up in that patch of grass over there." She pointed to said patch of grass before her gaze flickered back to Madam Red. "It's not exactly what you would call exciting."
