Mordred was in a fairly good mood, having just returned from a good spar with one of his new friends. There was something about her that seemed to draw him to her, whether it was her meek demeanour that brought out his protective tendencies, the fact that she could fight rather well, or something else he couldn't quite put his finger on. He couldn't wait for his guardian to return so he could tell her about it.

His wish was soon granted. Mordred nearly dropped his Dreamberry, rushing to Saber's side the moment she dragged herself into the street.

"Mother!" he cried, hauling her up with her arm over his shoulders and his other arm around her waist. "Be strong... we will be home soon."
