[Yuuki was more comfortable with the routine of patrolling the area now. Aside from the strange sight of the scarecrows and an occasional loud noise, the countryside did not seem very dangerous. But she understand that danger might still lurk beneath the surface - otherwise all of those people she had met along the way or spoken to on the Dreamberry would have told her it was a ridiculous, useless task. Zero too, for that matter. But they hadn't, and so she continued at her work every night, walking the perimeter, checking in on each of the twenty-eight cottages (she excluded her own), passing by the churches, patrolling through the cemetery, wondering about the inn and the dojo. Tonight she stopped at the fountain, taking a seat against the edge, resting for a moment. It was a lot of walking, and the ground was still muddy from the rain]
