In retrospect it would have been better to wait where she was until Kariya showed, but Uzuki was not an idle person and just standing around was boring. So, she decided further exploration of the shops were a better use of time than anything. Besides, a girl could do with some shopping after the kind of days she'd been having since she got here.

She had been in one shop when a familiar mop of bright orange hair caught her attention as he passed the store window. She made for the door--it wasn't like she was seeing anything good inside anyway.

"Hey Kariya--You came out here like that too?!"

A flash of pink at two o'clock! Before he knows it, a grin finds its way to his face.

"Uzuki, hey." Man, that name in his mouth, it felt like forever and a half since he'd last had to say it.

He'd overshot her a bit so he backtracked a few steps till he got to her. She was sticking her head out of some store--he gave it a once over, noting the clothes on display.

"...hawaiian shirts?" he asked, skepticism all over his face. "Don't tell me that's the current trend in Shibuya?"

"These things a Shibuya trend? As if." She scoffed, stepping out of the store. "I was hoping they'd have something less...loud. No luck."

She leaned back on her heels and stretched. "It's good you're here, things were getting boring."

She wasn't going to even touch on the fact that two weeks was far too long to not have him around.

"Yeah, well, y'never know with these things, huh?" He shrugged. Shibuya trends were of an unpredictable breed after all.

"And sorry about that, hon. I really didn't mean to leave ya all by your lonesome," he said, the apologetic grin a hundred percent sincere. "Been canvassing Somarium--y'know, this place we're stuck in? Yeah, and one thing I'm sure of is things happen here all the time."

A hand moved to the back of his neck as he took stock of the perimeter. (Old Reaper habits. They die hard) The shopping district was pretty quiet, not at all like the places back home.

"Guess it's lucky I was just asleep. For all I know, I coulda dropped off the face of the earth or somethin'."
