Draco shrieked upon Mille's arrival, half expecting it to be some creature intent on his demise. It hadn't been long since he took off from the cave Takuma led him to for his own safety. He wasn't exactly far from it by any means, but far enough that his own innate paranoia had set in, telling him that every little thing was out to get him.
Calming himself enough to whirl around, looking Mille over with fear-widened grey eyes, he forced a nod, "Physically, yes." Mille would see through anything more than that, or any attempt to say he was fine.
Of course, it didn't exactly look like the Knight was doing well. Anyone could see the blood in his hair, and Draco's own instincts told him it was probably Mille's.
The shriek was unexpected but apparently Draco was enough on edge for it. He gave a small smile as he was informed that the boy was alright physically. That was a relief.
"I'm alright."
It wasn't exactly a lie. He'd been far worse than this in the past. Mille tucked away a red feather he had at ready then looked around again.
Out in the open...
"It's not safe out here. Let's get you somewhere else."
"Where does somewhere else involve?" He couldn't help but ask, looking wary for a moment before moving closer to Mille. "And why're you in your armour anyway?"
Getting to the blood would likely take a few more moments; once he could ease into nervous conversation - on his part, at least - then maybe the words would flow better.
"Somewhere that isn't out in the open," he said as he picked Draco up and began moving through the trees to find a hollowed tree or a cave. Mille didn't comment on how the slight weight of Draco seemed a strain now too.
He smiled down at Draco as he entered a cave. "Because I thought it would help." Mille set the boy down and went to make sure that nothing was actually in the cave but them.
